1.2 Monitoring and Support

We may review account activity and contact players if spending patterns appear unusually high or potentially harmful. King of Comps reserves the right to temporarily pause accounts to protect player wellbeing. All valid entries made prior to any pause will remain eligible.

1.3 Self-Exclusion and Account Controls

Players may request temporary or permanent exclusion from competitions at any time. Requests can be made by contacting our support team via [email protected].

1.4 Respectful Conduct

Players must act respectfully towards other participants and King of Comps staff. Misuse of the platform, including attempts to bypass restrictions or use multiple accounts, may result in account suspension or termination.

1.5 Regulatory Status & Responsibility

King of Comps operates Free Entry & Skill based competitions that are not classed as gambling under the UK Gambling Act 2005 and therefore is not subject to Gambling Commission regulations. While we promote responsible play and may intervene where we identify potential risks, participants remain solely responsible for their own spending and participation decisions

2. Qualifying Persons

2.1 Operator

Kofcomps Ltd, trading as Kingofcomps.co.uk, operates competitions and skill-based games resulting in the allocation of prizes in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

2.2 Eligibility

Competitions are open to all persons aged 18 years or over who reside in the United Kingdom or Ireland, excluding employees, agents, and immediate family members of Kofcomps Ltd.

2.3 Account Integrity

Kingofcomps.co.uk reserves the right to close an account at any time if there is reason to believe that the account is being misused, that the entrant is acting abusively, or that the entries are not being made by the genuine account holder.

2.4 Social Media Giveaways

King of Comps may occasionally conduct promotional giveaways on social media. These entries qualify for participation in the main prize draw. The company reserves the right to withdraw eligibility from any participant whose behaviour is deemed unfair, abusive, or detrimental to others or to King of Comps’ platforms.

3. Legal Undertaking

3.1 Agreement

By entering a competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and that you possess the legal capacity to do so.

3.2 Governing Law

All competitions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from participation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.

3.3 International Participation

Entrants accessing the website from outside the UK or Ireland do so at their own risk and must ensure compliance with the laws of their jurisdiction. Kingofcomps.co.uk accepts no responsibility for unlawful participation.

4. Competition Entry

4.1 Entry Routes

Competitions may be entered via the official website www.kingofcomps.co.uk. Both paid and free postal entry methods are available and are clearly detailed on each competition page.

4.2 Account Registration

To participate, entrants must register an account and provide valid contact information, including an email address and telephone number. Only one account is permitted per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent ticket limits or to claim multiple free entries is strictly prohibited.

4.3 Entry Process

When entering online, follow on-screen instructions to select a competition, complete required details, and confirm acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Confirmation of entry will be issued by email.

4.4 Entry Limits

Each competition specifies the maximum number of tickets permitted per person. This limit is displayed clearly on the respective competition page.

4.5 Competition Closure

Competitions close when all tickets are sold or at the guaranteed draw date, whichever occurs first. If a competition does not sell out, the draw will still take place on the guaranteed date. No entries will be accepted after closure.

4.6 Entry Validity

Incomplete or invalid entries may be refused or disqualified. All valid entries become the property of Kingofcomps.co.uk and will not be returned.

5. Promotion Periods

Each competition runs for a specified period as stated on its competition page. Once a guaranteed draw date is announced, the draw will proceed on that date regardless of ticket sales, except in cases of severe technical disruption, in which case Kingofcomps.co.uk may extend the competition as a last resort.

6. Competition Judgement

6.1 Draw Method

Competitions are drawn via live stream on Facebook using an online random number generator. Entry lists, displaying participants’ first and last names, are publicly available on the website.

6.2 Winner Selection

Each competition will have one main prize winner unless otherwise stated. Some competitions may include additional winners or instant win prizes, which will be credited directly to the winner’s account.

6.3 Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted via the email address or telephone number provided at registration. Entrants are responsible for ensuring their contact information is accurate. Kingofcomps.co.uk accepts no liability for incorrect or outdated details.

6.4 Prize Ownership

Upon being declared the winner, ownership of the prize passes to the winner. Kingofcomps.co.uk will make reasonable efforts to contact and deliver the prize; prizes will not be forfeited.

6.5 Early Closure

If a competition closes early, the winner will be selected from all valid entries received prior to closure.

6.6 Future Promotions

All entrants are automatically added to the Kingofcomps.co.uk marketing database to receive updates on competition status and future promotions. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.

7. Winners’ Details

7.1 Publicity

Winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity, including photographs, videos, or interviews for promotional purposes. Kingofcomps.co.uk may use winner names, likenesses, and call recordings for marketing and public relations.

7.2 Delivery Arrangements

After verifying winner details, Kingofcomps.co.uk will arrange prize delivery. Delivery is free within the UK, though surcharges may apply to locations outside standard delivery zones.

8. Competition Prizes

8.1 Prize Ownership and Condition

All prizes are owned and supplied by Kingofcomps.co.uk until delivered to the winner. Prizes are provided “as is” without warranties or insurance unless explicitly stated. Kingofcomps.co.uk assumes no liability for defects or issues arising after delivery.

8.2 Collection of High-Value Prizes

Winners of large or high-value prizes (e.g., vehicles, motorhomes) must collect the prize in person to complete the handover promotional material. Collection by a third party is not permitted.

8.3 Non-Transferability

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be substituted for cash unless explicitly offered at Kingofcomps.co.uk’s discretion.

9. Limits of Liability

Kingofcomps.co.uk shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation or prize use, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence. The company provides no warranties as to prize quality or suitability and shall not be liable for consequential or economic losses.

10. Electronic Communications

Kingofcomps.co.uk accepts no responsibility for incomplete, lost, or corrupted entries due to technical failures or network issues. In the event of an error resulting in an incorrect winner announcement, the company reserves the right to correct the error and re-award the prize appropriately.

If a competition must close without a winner being selected, all affected entrants will receive equivalent site credit for future draws.

11. Data Protection Notice

By entering, you consent to Kingofcomps.co.uk processing your personal data for the purposes of competition administration, prize fulfilment, and marketing (unless you opt out). Data may be shared with service providers or transferred internationally in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

12. Free Postal Entry Method

Entrants may enter any competition free of charge by sending an unenclosed postcard containing:

Each postcard must be sent individually (not grouped in one envelope) and received before the competition closes. Entrants must be registered on the website prior to sending a postal entry.

Postal entries are treated equally to paid entries and qualify for both main and instant win prizes. Kingofcomps.co.uk is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected mail.

13. SMS/Text Messaging Service

By consenting to King of Comps SMS communications, you agree to receive recurring service and promotional messages to your registered mobile number. Message and data rates may apply. Participation is voluntary and not a condition of purchase.

You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” or contacting [email protected].

14. Refunds and Return Policy

All entries are final. No refunds will be issued except in cases where:

The competition is cancelled by the promoter, or
Entries are submitted after the closing date.

14.1 Ticket Swaps

At the promoter’s discretion, customers may request to swap tickets for a different competition if availability permits and the original competition did not include instant win prizes.

14.2 Distance Selling Regulations

Entrants agree that the usual requirement under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 for goods or services to be supplied within 30 days does not apply to these competitions.
